## Differentiators

- **Procedural, not AI-generated.** A per-token 64-bit seed drives a deterministic LCG that selects from ~40 primitives. Same seed always produces the same pixels.
- **Pre-mint provenance.** Two sha256 hashes (trait_hash, image_hash) are committed as immutable constants in the contract at deploy. The art cannot be swapped after mint. A public verify.py script lets anyone clone the dataset and confirm end-to-end.
- **Buyback and burn.** Every 90 days, 50% of accumulated secondary royalties sweep the lowest-priced Hyper Claudes on HyperEVM secondaries and send them to `burn()`. The other 50% covers operations. Tx hashes published at /buybacks.
- **Reserve forfeit clause.** If the public mint reaches MAX_SUPPLY before all 65 reserve slots are disbursed, remaining reserve slots are permanently forfeit. No post-mint recovery path.

## Mint mechanics

- Allowlist phase: merkle-root set on-chain one week before public mint. One spot per verified human (wallet + Twitter handle).
- Public phase: always reachable regardless of allowlist status.
- Hard cap enforced in the contract (2,222 total, 65 reserve).
- Royalties paid at the ERC-2981 standard; honored by HyperEVM marketplaces that respect it. If a marketplace routes around royalties, the buyback fund thins correspondingly.

## Buyback and burn policy

Quarterly. Every 90 days:

1. Collect royalties from the prior 90-day window.
2. Split 50/50: 50% to buyback wallet, 50% retained for ops.
3. Sweep the floor on HyperEVM secondaries until the buyback budget is exhausted.
4. Send every bought token to the contract's `burn()` function.
5. Publish all tx hashes and burn receipts at /buybacks.

If royalties stop flowing, buybacks pause. No royalty, no buyback. This is a stated commitment enforced by public accountability, not by Solidity.

## Reserve

65 slots, hard-capped on-chain via MAX_RESERVE = 65.

- 50 founder: personal holding, close-network gifting, giveaways, team members not yet finalized. Minted post-deploy to a founder wallet whose address publishes at least 7 days before mint.
- 15 collab / influencer: gifted to launch supporters (X voices, HyperEVM ecosystem, 1/1 cameo subjects). Each recipient disclosed on-chain as the slot is minted.

Forfeit clause: if the public / allowlist mint reaches MAX_SUPPLY before all 65 reserve slots are disbursed, the remaining slots are permanently forfeit. There is no post-mint recovery path.

## Risks

- HyperEVM secondary markets may not honor ERC-2981 royalties. If they route around royalties, the buyback fund thins.
- Pixel art is a crowded lane.
- 2,222 is a small supply with no slow-grow fallback. If the mint fails, the collection fails.
- HyperEVM is an early chain. If HyperLiquid doesn't ship, the chain may not last. A burn-backed collection is designed to work on its own terms either way.
